Emotional Surveillance
Production year: 2026
Mediums: moving image, sound, installation

This project explores how AI and emotion recognition technologies turn human emotions into data that can be read, evaluated, and managed. Through installation and video projection, the work simulates an environment of continuous observation, allowing audiences to directly feel the pressure of being monitored and judged. The project invites reflection on technological power, the datafication of emotion, and emotional privacy, asking: when machines begin to read our emotions, do we still possess emotional autonomy?
